This Sunday is my birthday, and it also happens to be the Summer Solstice: the longest day of the year.
As a photographer, I’ve always been drawn to light. Not just beautiful light, but the way it helps us remember. The way it illuminates the people we love and the seasons we’re living through, often before we realize how quickly they’re passing.
Growing up, my mom always called me her “summer sunshine.” As I’ve been thinking about birthdays, summer, and the passage of time, it felt like the perfect inspiration for something special.
To celebrate the season, I’m opening a limited number of Summer Studio Celebration sessions throughout July and August.
These petite portrait sessions are designed to be simple, relaxed, and accessible – a chance to create beautiful photographs without the commitment of a full session.
What Are Summer Studio Celebration Sessions?
Summer Studio Celebration sessions are petite portrait sessions held in my Wake Forest studio during July and August.
Each session costs $400 and includes:
- A 20-minute studio portrait session
- 5 digital images of your choice
- Access to the studio wardrobe for mothers and babies
- Gentle guidance throughout your session
Additional images and gallery upgrades available.
