A full-service experience begins before your baby is born. (We plan ahead because we schedule newborn sessions within the first couple of weeks after birth. We start with a planning meeting where we talk through:
- your vision for the session
- the feelings you want to convey (soft, timeless, organic, connected)
- what everyone will wear
- and how your photos might live in your home
This step is especially important because when baby arrives, decision-making becomes much harder. Planning ahead allows you to relax and enjoy the experience later.
You don’t need to have everything figured out – that’s my job! My role here is to listen, guide, and help you feel confident going into your session.
Step Two: A Calm, Cozy Studio Experience
One of the biggest benefits of full-service newborn photography is the studio environment.
Instead of cleaning your home or worrying about light and space, you’ll arrive at a cozy, fully stocked studio designed specifically for newborn sessions. Everything we need is already here, from soft wraps and blankets to comfortable seating and soothing white noise.

- feed or soothe your baby as needed
There is no rush.
I always follow your newborn’s cues and allow plenty of time for feeding, snuggling, and comfort. The pace is baby-led, slow and gentle … exactly as it should be during this season.

My approach focuses on natural, relaxed posing that emphasizes connection over perfection. I’ll gently guide you into flattering, comfortable positions that feel more like enjoying each other than “posing for photos.”
