So, how does the baby photographer end up doing boudoir?
Well, after beating leukemia, turning 50, and feeling more than a little invisible in a world that doesn't seem to value middle-aged women, I dove deep into self-compassion and acceptance. I worked to love this strong, resilient body of mine, growing my confidence and self-worth along the way. I learned that I have so much value to give to the world at this age, and so do you!
No matter the path that brought you here, you can probably relate. We don't get to our 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond without going through some things! But we wear our battle scars proudly. And we deserve to be photographed in a way that values and celebrates us for who we are.
I'm all about creating a relaxed yet refined boudoir photography experience for you, crafting beautiful photos that'll always bring you right back to this moment...a time when you pressed pause on all the noise and did something just for you.

Located in the heart of Wake Forest, just a few miles north of Raleigh, my cozy boutique studio is where all the photography magic happens! Here we have everything we need for beautiful, light-filled portrait and boudoir photo sessions, including space for hair and makeup, lots of fun wardrobe and accessories options for you, as well as the simple backdrops and props you see in my work.
