Your experience begins with a planning meeting by phone or in person at the studio. We’ll talk through your vision for the session, choose wardrobe for everyone, and map out the look and feel you want your images to have. You can select pieces from the Studio Wardrobe or bring your own favorites—either way, you’re going to look beautiful.
After your session, I won’t leave you guessing about what comes next. New parents are busy, and having someone guide you makes all the difference. At your Design & Order Appointment, you’ll sort through printed proofs, explore artwork samples, and receive my help deciding how best to display the images you love most.
You’ll blink, and your tiny newborn won’t be so tiny anymore. But with timeless photographs that hold the weight and warmth of this moment, you’ll always remember what it felt like—the softness of their skin, the quiet rise and fall of their breath, and the love that began the moment you met.

Preserve Your Baby’s Story
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled during your second trimester to ensure availability. Once your baby arrives, we’ll confirm your exact date date and time.
The ideal time is between 7–14 days new, when baby is still sleepy and curly for that quintessential newborn look that passes so quickly. However, I happily welcome older newborns — every stage is beautiful in its own way.
All sessions take place in my cozy, natural-light studio in Wake Forest, NC — just a short drive from Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and anywhere else in the Triangle. The studio is open by appointment only.
I provide everything we need for your session, including blankets, wraps, tiny outfits, headbands. I don't offer themes or elaborate props. If you have something special you'd like to bring from home, such as an heirloom outfit or blanket, feel free to bring it along. Please note: I will not place your baby in or on a prop that I deem unsafe. Your baby's safety is of the utmost importance during your session.
My sessions are calm, unhurried, and baby-led. I’ll take care of soothing, posing, and styling so you can rest, watch, and enjoy the moment.
