Sam and her family are getting ready to move out of state next week, so we squeezed in her 9 month session yesterday. And what a Good Friday it was! Sam’s dad has the MOST cool 1959 Chevrolet truck, and we put that baby to good use before it drives out of town!

I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have clients that trust in my vision! Jen, Ben and Sam, thank you from the bottom of my creative soul! I hope you have an easy time with the move, and I can’t wait for Sam’s 1-year session this summer!

Calling all moms! Do you have the “always-behind-the-camera” blues? Do you ever flip through your family’s photo albums and wish you were actually IN the pictures?

The time is NOW. Don’t worry about getting your hair did. Forget about those last 10-20-30 pounds you want to lose. Your relationship with your child is so special…it’s unique…it’s right now, ever fleeting. Put some photographs in that album that your child will cherish for a lifetime.

Mommy & Me Mini Sessions are limited, so make sure to get on the calendar soon. And Dads - can you think of a better Mother’s Day gift?!

A quick calendar note: April and May are fully booked, and I am beginning to book for June and July! Of course, I always try to leave room in the schedule for newborns - but make sure to contact me before baby arrives!

Sam is one of my favorite participants in the Building Blocks first year plan. I have done her newborn session and her 3-month session, and today I was SO excited for her 6-month session!

6-month olds are generally SO happy and SO smiley, and Sam was eager to oblige!

Of course, she had her more serious side too…especially when we were trying to distract her from something MUCH more interesting than the camera.

Here she is in mid-sentence telling me exactly what I can go and do with said camera…

And just one more, because I just can’t resist this face!

Sophia and Boris are best friends, despite their age difference. And well, that different species part.

I tried something new for this photo, what do you think? I think it suits her classic outfit!

Look at this sweet little face. I could eat her up! Sophia’s grandmother made this dress for her. Isn’t it gorgeous?!

I loved every single thing about this session. The lighting, the beautiful nursery, gorgeous mom and dad. And of course, this little love:

I was directing dad to go in for a kiss, and every time, Phoneix would turn her head away. It was hilarious! We got some reeeeaallly cute captures of the moment.

Did I mention what a beautiful family they are? I mean seriously.

And we wore this little girl plum OUT. She took a quick catnap in dad’s arms, and we captured one - just one! - sleeping shot. She’s just perfect.

Thank you so much for inviting me into your beautiful home, Morgan and Ryan! I can’t wait to show you the rest!

Samantha is three months old already! I can’t believe how much she has grown since I last her saw her. And such a beautiful smile!
