i have finished my beginner photography class. here are some of the photos i submitted for our last night of class. let me know what you think!

i know i’m a little late, but i was having trouble uploading pictures, and what is a blog without pictures?

here are a couple of pictures from macy’s first birthday party. i still can’t believe that my little baby is a year old. and walking! i also can’t believe we let her make such a mess of that cake!

we took Little Miss to the zoo for her birthday as well…i’ll share some pictures from that trip soon. (hey, i have to keep a little bit of suspense going here!)

i’m thinking of leaving my job. i love what i do, but the schedule is just too much. real estate in the triangle is still doing well, despite the credit crunch, but the new neighborhood i started almost 4 months ago just isn’t selling yet. i don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to afford for me to stay in this position.

if i left, what would i do? i have no idea. i’ve been looking in the paper and on different websites, but i’ve not come up with anything yet. i would love to start a photography business, but i still need tons of practice before that would be viable. and of course, with my crazy schedule, when would i have the chance to practice?

i could always try general brokerage, but that is one scary proposition…no benefits, no pay. where would i find clients? and now may not be the best time to get into that side of real estate.

i guess i’ll try sticking it out a little while longer. maybe through the end of the year. wish me luck!
